Oil in our softgels is of the highest purity and it is derived from wild Peruvian anchovies.
 
Why?
White fish, such as cod, only contain oil in the liver. oily fish, such as anchovies, produce an overall higher rate of essential nutrients. This converts to supplements rich in Omega 3, full of DHA and EPA (180mg EPA and 120mg DHAto be exact). 
 
We also incorporate some vitamin E for added antioxidant benefits.
 
What is DHA and EPA?
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are long-chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (O-3s) that are abundant in fish, shellfish, and some algae and genetically engineered plants. The body needs EPA & DHA omega-3s to develop and function optimally in every stage of life.
 
Your body can only produce a very small amount of DHA from other fatty acids, so you need to consume it directly from food or a supplement. Together, DHA and EPA may help reduce inflammation and your risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease. DHA can also support brain function and eye health.
